Parci

Brand Design

Changing the Way Things Get Around

Parci is a startup about new way of delivery in Toronto, Canada. They wanted me to design some identity elements and stationery for them.
Also, rebrand their Logo and an all-new stuff is on its way!

Beginning

I've started to work with Shahin (the founder of startup) to work on their past logo's logo motion and a short, animated infographic design.

You can pay a visit to their Website and Instagram page.

Identity Elements

In next step, they needed some stationary like letterhead, tees and other stuff for their office and employees. I started to design them a few concepts about what elemental and iconic shapes they need to have on their business accessories, some designs they more related to the business, to the things they want and like to do every day, every time!

Video shows a bit of their IT and service features. (It's loop-able, turn on loop in right click menu for better experience.)

Some of identity elements I've designed for the brand are shown here.

With these simple concepts I have started to grip on next step of project, designing content and stationary.

A set of office stationery and accessories designed and printed with these basic ideas of "How would a safe and fast delivery could be? ", while their platform based in big and busy city and supporting that's surrounding area for service.

Office stationaries, app, web and social graphics made based on identity design.

Rebrand

After the startup passed its early phases, Parci team decided to make a brand-new visual for their business and started it with new Logo.

#1

They came up with the idea of an element inside the job, but the colors were solid from the beginning, a logo in green for end-user's app, one in black for businesses environment and one in deep blue for couriers app.

I started some concepts to take their tastes in shape and direction, A set of logos with boxes, couriers and delivering concept has been made.

Phase 1: started with some random alphabetic and elemental designs. In order from left to right: user app, courier app, business app.

#2

The second phase started with the idea of hold on to the antagonist of first design, a Package and a character of "P".

I mixed them up with elements of delivery and shop, and started to minimalize it through the process, but still satisfactory was far away.

Phase 2: concepts of package, streets and shopIn order from left to right: user app, courier app, business app.

#3

At last, Shahin came up with the idea of an animal mascot that should emphasize the business, there were Gorilla, Hare, Fox and other animals at the plate! but I suggested the Stork.

Storks are huge, cute, strong, beautiful and have characterized deep into culture of delivering, delivering the Children!

Children are most precious and important cargos they get delivered to the parents safe and sound by these creature for hundreds of years! (As long as I know!) right before suggesting it I had a solid concept of how it would be and I started to draw some basic forms in a minimalistic style, an origami.

Phase 3: concepts of a bird

Conclusion

My suggestion got approved by team and I have started to design some concepts.

A set of different positions and figures of the bird was made but the flashy, straight and most stable one was picked for all three logos.

I use an origami style, a primitive way of show something that can be shown, then placed main design inside a gold ratio of threes to make it look fluent, balanced and slick, also, makes it fast recognizable.

Also, a little change in coloring made, black for user, deep blue for business and green for courier.

The re-branding of Parci is on precedure, hope we get back online as this project grows.
